HQs in Terminator Armor; Probably wasn’t the wisest thing to do but I guess I was going for completeness. I got Logan Grimnar (to be used as my Captain Count-As), Njal Stormcaller (a substitute for my Space Hulk Librarian model), Chaplain in Terminator Armor (cause I think it’s a really cool model) and Captain in Terminator Armor (I was missing one more Terminator model for my Space Hulk so I thought “Why not?”). I like the models very much though the Njal model’s staff was a ta’uk’me to put on and the Captain’s Terminator Armor looks a bit “chubby”. I need to get a Standard for him though.

Even more Terminators; I traded some my Orks for some AoBR Termies and Marines. I’ve converted the Sergeant (gave him a Power Fist) and one of the Terminators (gave him a Heavy Flamer). I got them so I can totally substitute my Space Hulk Terminators so I don’t damage them or anything. In light of putting them together, it’s a real ta’uk’me to get Power Swords for your Terminators much like it’s a ta’uk’me to get Missile Launchers.

AoBR Marines; Needed more Grey Hunters and the AoBR Marines just fit the profile. Had to give the Sergeant a Power Fist and a Bolt Pistol or Bolter. Problem: I ran out of Bolters and Bolt Pistols that are right-handed and is hold in one hand. So I just chop off the pointing arm and slap on a Power Fist (which is quite old from the looks of it).

Zen’s Command Squad;Using Wolf Guard Pack, I did my best to make a vanilla Command Squad out of them (because honestly, I dunno what to arm them with). So, you got (from left to right): Standard Bearer, Sergeant, Company Champion, Weapons Specialist and Apothecary. In the end, they’re quite versatile; able to handle any threat. My only peeve is that the Drop Pod can only carry 5 Terminators so I have to leave one out so I can fit my Wolf Lord with the others. But it so happens that my Long Fangs boast Missile Launchers and my Weapon Specialists is fitted with a Cyclone Missile Launcher. Got them primed up for the upcoming Elite Competition.

More Terminators; Actually the only reason why I wanted these guys is for the Cyclone Missile Launcher but I decided not to waste them and make another viable Wolf Guard Terminator Squad. They’re pretty much have different wargear from each model and even if I mix them with the Command Squad, they’re all still have unique wargear; abusing Wound Allocation at it’s worst! I also have a few more coming in as I’m going to use them for my Space Hulk. I’m too scared to use the fragile yet precious Space Hulk Terminators.

WIP Rhino; Painted my first Rhino. I really like the model. Small, sleek. Hopefully I don’t screw up on the painting too much :P

Ol’ Skool Tyranid Warriors; Suddenly, I see where the concept for Genestealers came from. And yes, these are Warriors! For a long time, I’ve seen them sit there so unloved and uncared for. And as a collector, I decided to dust them off and get them. I must admit they were ugly at first but once you assemble them and have a couple around, you start to see them as good old classics. Also, I can make a legal squad out of them! Oh, I didn’t base them yet because they originally come with Ogre-size square bases. Waiting until this Saturday so I can collect some proper Terminator round bases.

1st Grey Hunters Pack; Got one of them painted. It only took me a week :P Anyway, I manage to get a Rhino for them so they don’t have to foot-slog it. First time assembling the Rhino btw. Love the model. Tried the “Drive me closer. I want to hit them with my sword.” thing with the Rhino. The Marine on the Rhino also has a Plasma Pistol which I use to indicate that it is the Rhino with the Grey Hunters Pack with the 2 Plasma Guns.

2nd Grey Hunters Pack; Another Rhino-mounted Grey Hunters Pack but they have Meltaguns instead of Plasma Guns. One of models is a RT Space Marine with Multi-Melta and Bolt Pistol but I say it’s a Meltagun because he’s holding it in one hand (actually the Multi-Melta is his arm but meh…).

Grey Hunters with Special Weapons; They’re for my other 2 packs of Grey Hunters (Yes, I love my grunts). The Plasma Gunners are pretty old (One is from 1994 and the other is from the days of Rogue Trader). The Meltagunners are the current Marines.

Long Fangs; Unfortunately, GW don’t give out Missile Launchers out willy-nilly. Even their Devastators Box Set only have ONE Missile Launcher. I may have to get the AoBR Space Marines for their Missile Launchers as well as additional models for Grey Hunters Let the Great Hunt for Missile Launchers begin!

Iron Wolves, 2nd Company thus far…; Pretty much what I have right now. Main problem is the Thunderwolf Cavalry. But I’ll guess I find the appropriate models sooner or later.

Captain Zen Bloodhammer, Iron Wolves 2nd Company; Canis Wolfborn model. I’ve been eye’ing it for quite some time. I’ve always love the Wolves. So, I thought Hey, I’ll start Space Wolves. So, here he is; my first HQ model of my Space Marine army. I’ll be getting a box of Grey Hunters next. This time, I swear I’ll not buy another model until I’m done painting the current model so my army will be painted. So, here it is and this time no C&C please, I already spend enough time and patients just on the fur. It was until I applied Bad-dyi Black that I got it just the way I wanted it. Hail the Washes!

Grey Hunters; Got some today and got them assembled. Disappointed over the fact that they don’t carry Meltaguns but looks like I’m gonna need to get some Meltaguns from somewhere. Most likely E-bay. Anyway, I’m quite surprise at the amount of uniqueness in each armor piece. Painting them is going to take more time than I would have expected. Should have got that Tactical Squad instead but I guess you have to live with your choices.
